In this episode we talk about difficulty in games. Also I would like to do a bit of a correction… During the show we talked about Uncharted and how it would show big glowing arrows, this may have been incorrect. Although the game does still give you hints and tips on what to do next if you wait long enough I do not believe any arrows appeared. Either way I still think everyone gets the idea in what we were talking about.

In this episode we talk about difficulty in games. Also I would like to do a bit of a correction... Although the game does still give you hints and tips on what to do next if you wait long enough I do not believe any arrows appeared. Either way I still think everyone gets the idea in what we were talking about.

In this episode of exploring design we are joined by indie game developer Andy Moore to talk about how to design achievements in games. We end up discussing a lot of really interesting things related to achievements in games, and give our thoughts on what we think the future holds for them. The show was recorded or skype and so we sadly ended up running into some really nasty audio issues… But the show still turned out pretty great though.

In this episode of exploring design we are joined by indie game developer Andy Moore to talk about how to design achievements in games. We end up discussing a lot of really interesting things related to achievements in games, and give our thoughts on what we think the future holds for them. The show was recorded or skype and so we sadly ended up running into some really nasty audio issues... But the show still turned out pretty great though.
