Game Developer’s Radio: Tunes #02

Number of View: 1554

Date recorded: 09/01/2011

This is the second episode of “Tunes”, for each episode I am going to try and go with a particular theme of music. This episodes focuses more on an 8-bit sound, with a very relaxed tone to it all… Perfect mix of music you can listen to while you are coding, on a drive home or just trying to relax. Hope you enjoy the mix :-D

I don’t like this as it has nothing to do with game development. There is no discussion about audio creation for games, it’s just a playlist.

You should definitely advertise this on non-developer channels but if this is going to be a regular thing, consider changing the name or making it a separate project to not confuse people who are interested in music but not gamedev.

By the way, here’s an amazing talk by a likable guy at casual connect about making game music:

  • Joseph Burchett

I am sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy the show, I thought I would mix it
up a bit. I will still be releasing shows on game design and interviews.
    Thanks for the feedback!

Haha, sorry for my whiny wording. :)

  • Joseph Burchett

Not whiny good sir, you were honest! And I won’t know if people actually
want or care to listen to the shows I release unless I get feedback ;-)
Knowing this sort helps me manage my time better so I can better serve
    the audience!
